General Information

The Solera History Group meets once per month to learn history on all manner of topics. We generally meet on the first Monday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in Solera Oakmont Rooms 1 and 2. Information on the monthly meeting date, topic of talk, and speaker are included in Life in Solera, this website page and is sent out to interested residents via a group email. The coordinator for the History Group is Richard Crowe. If you wish to have your email address included in the group email, call or email Richard at 951-769-1580/bevrichcrowe@hotmail.com.

Besides keeping your mind active learning new things, at the end of our history talks there are no tests!

Hello Honeybee Players,

Here is our upcoming holiday schedule:

Memorial Day: No Bunco on Monday, May 27th. We will resume on Tuesday, June 4th, and continue every Tuesday.
Labor Day: No Bunco on Monday, September 2nd. We will resume on Tuesday, September 10th, and continue every Tuesday.
Thanksgiving: No Bunco on Thursday, November 28th. We will resume on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th, then take a break for the holidays. Regular games will resume every Tuesday starting January 7th.

Additionally, we will have a potluck before Thanksgiving, where everyone can bring their favorite dish, and another potluck before we take our Christmas break.

Solera Sippers

The Solera Sippers is first and foremost a social club – not a group of “wine snobs”. We are currently the largest club in Solera with over 150 members. We put on social events every month that bring people together, whether they drink wine or don’t drink alcohol at all. Enjoying wine (or your choice of beverage) is just part of enjoying some fun and fellowship. In addition to our social events, we do plan a couple of events that are educational and at the same time fun.
